I Want to Make

I wanna find a sewing class to join this summer. Otherwise I've got to learn on my own cause I'm itching to make these things!

Gotta break out the 99 Ways to Cut Your T-Shirt book plus try to make these two things.

The white one looks like it can be done without any sewing.

For this, I just gotta discover a blouse with a great print and material from a thrift store.

I posted a dress similar to this one in an earlier blog. These seem like they'd be really easy to make. Find an old shirt, add some material from a skirt or anything random. Play with the length and where you'd like it to sit on your waist.

If only I could turn all the great flannels I find into something like this...

Diggin the shortened sleeves.

I think both of these things would be fairly easy. You can find those little wooden boxes at craft stores for cheap. Paint it any way you please, add some material to the inside, add some designs and embelishments. Way cheaper than this LuckyBrand box. I'm sure this pillow would be simple. Use scraps of material you have lying around;Perfect way to recycle old material. Even if your sewing skills aren't that great, the mistakes would add to its look and give it more character.
